Never Too Young To Paint!! Paint Day with my Grand Daughter... So Much Fun!!!!!

What to Do at Gramma's house on a Hot Hot Humid day? We got out the Tempra paints!

Tia is a natural! She took right to painting! Of course creatives like us can't just stick to canvas!!

After covering both sides of our boards it was time to wash off... Nose to Toes!

So proud of her first painting! It will hang in her room.. ( I helped a bit :)) Now plum tuckered out!!
P.S. She is the best gift ever!!!!!

WOW Neat little discovery! Chalk Paint... Chalkboard Paint... Ceiling Paint...

It all started with a leaky toilet*
We had to do a quick repair on the ceiling in my dining room
so we made a trip to the local Benjamin Moore store.
I did not know that there was such a paint as a special ceiling paint?*?
Now I am a little embarrassed because all through the 90's
I had a little Faux-Finish business called Spellbound Fantasy Finishes..
and I thought I knew all there was to know about paint and its properties.
I am very interested in all the buzz about "CHALK" paint
so I asked the girl what they had as an equivalent.
She led me directly to the chalkboard paint..
well I do know about chalkboard paint so
I assume she was just not "Up" on the latest trend.
After painting my ceiling and loving the ultra-flat finish,
I played around with it a little and discovered it looks amazing**
it has a bit of a chalk-y finish is super flat easy to
paint with and comes in over 3,000 colors***
So for $24.00 for a quart I will be finding more thing to chalk it up on*
((eekk compared with $38.95 a quart plus shipping))
Oh and By the way it makes a great Chalkboard Paint too*
